Leading Multifamily Service Providers Raise $25,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness

Oakland, CA -- February 6 , 2007 -- PropertyBridge, Inc., a provider of online payment processing; Ellipse Group Inc., a provider for web based services; and ResidentCheck, a provider of resident background checks, have rallied together for a “Buck Up and Wear It” campaign that has raised more than $25,000 to support breast cancer initiatives, research and treatments.

The three companies created pink T-shirts with the slogan “Buck Up and Wear It” embedded within an image of a one dollar bill.  Each company pledged to donate $5000.00 if 5000 Buck Up and Wear It t-shirts were given away at industry conferences throughout the year. Ellipse also provided plush toy cows that were available in exchange for a $10-$20 donation per cow. After 16 tradeshows, 5000 t-shirts and 600 cows, the team contributed $25,192.43 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

During a ceremony at The Brainstorming West Conference this past November, Lee O’Conner, Vice President of Ellipse Group, displayed the oversized check. “It is abundantly clear that our industry, comprised of close to 80% women, found that this cause is indeed something to buck up for,” said O’Conner.

PropertyBridge President Jason Gardner added, “We are tremendously pleased with the success of this campaign, and look forward to continuing the tradition of contributing to important causes like this for years to come.”

Charles Stroud, Vice President of Sales for ResidentCheck stated, “We each entered into the cause for different reasons and are all better companies and better people for participating in something as personal as asking for money from people to fight a cause.”
