PropertyBridge Announces Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey Results

Dedicated customer call center and user friendly platform help automated payments provider reach satisfaction rates of 90% and higher in many areas

OAKLAND, CA - May 26, 2010 - PropertyBridge, Inc., a MoneyGram company, and a leading provider of electronic payment services to the multifamily housing industry, today announced results of its annual customer satisfaction survey. The online survey was distributed to thousands of apartment properties nationwide that use PropertyBridge for electronic processing of rent and lease related payments.

With a response rate of more than 15%, the survey provided a good statistical sampling of users. Community managers and leasing professionals were asked about their satisfaction with the PropertyBridge payment platform, ease of use, experience with customer support, and areas for improvement. Users of all payment types were represented in the survey results, including ACH, Check Scanning, Credit/Debit, Pay by Cash at MoneyGram, and Pay by Phone.   

Response highlights:

  • 92.8% of respondents recommend PropertyBridge to their tenants as an easy and convenient way to pay rent and lease-related payments
  • 91.4% of respondents ranked PropertyBridge a 3 or higher on a scale of 1-5 (5 high) when asked about their overall service satisfaction
  • 86.1% of respondents said that their overall satisfaction level is the same or has increased from last year
  • 92.5% of respondents stated that the PropertyBridge system was easy to use, up 2.5% from last year
  • Of survey respondents, 68.4% have used PropertyBridge for more than a year


"This survey is an effective tool to help us clearly understand if we are meeting our clients’ needs and allows us to identify specific ways to better serve our customers,” stated Leslie Olsen, PropertyBridge Director of Product and Marketing. “As a result of continuing growth in our client base, we have increased our account management team three-fold in 2010, which will allow us to continue the level of personal service and support that our clients count on,” she added. 

In addition to an online support center, community managers and residents have access to PropertyBridge’s world class bilingual call center. More than 30 call center representatives are available to assist PropertyBridge clients seven days a week. The top five reasons that survey respondents like the PropertyBridge service were:

  • Valuable amenity for residents – 57.7%
  • Easy to use – 48%
  • Saves us trips to bank and other administrative tasks– 46%
  • Secure payment method – 38%
  • Helps us reduce delinquencies and time spent on collection efforts – 35%
